Apparently, if you and your friend install old source games that uses the stupid way of installing the games on both accounts, and then remove one of the accounts, steam WIPES the sourcemods folder, including all folders and maps. Was 90% done to a map that I was going to finish this Christmas, now I have to redo the fucking thing again. Sometimes, just sometimes, steam is fucking retarded.
I don't know, but can't find it anywhere. Just did a system restore which restored everything except the maps folder. And I was just about to make a backup too. It's like a backup curse, the time before my other comp crashed, I was going to do a full backup before formating it, only to have it crash before I could backup.
I had lost a map recently that was saved in the hammerautosave directory for some reason, but I had mild success getting parts of it back with a file recovery program. steam fucking sucks though
