I want to know how many of you actually PLAY with HDR on. I don't care which you think looks better or which you would like to see more of. I just want to know how many of you play with it enabled.

I have it on and use mat_bloom_scale_factor 0.3 to tone it down to like 30% of full HDR.

I play with it on since I find it actually looks better and performance doesn't matter so much in Empires.

In CSS, for example, I would have it off even with my newer machines because the maps take longer to load and it drains. In Empires...it just gives the environment more depth.

I have it on so the maps become more dynamic, more alive

In some maps i wouldn't need hdr, but in most i really love it.
Biggest problem with hdr is shooting the BE (?) rpg, so a tonemap controller to limit hdr is needed in every map imo.

Also don't judge HDR by maps who do (did) it wrong. I haven't played glycencity for a very long time, but that was not an example of what hdr should look like.

I play without HDR, since I play with "official" low settings 1024*768 for Emp, so I get more chance in the "laggish" close range at few players, yeahh.

I play with HDR, no changes to bloom, No Motion Blur.

On Testerpires I play even with Motion Blur on. For some reason it's less shitty and more realistic in the new version.

On, it's less annoying than it used to be, but the maps really neeed tonemap_controllers on them.

OR I guess you could add some lines to the map.cfg files to fiddle with the HDR settings for each map, which would save a recompile.

No hdr and low quality particles ftw.
Also, to add entities and such, wouldn't this work'?
