Pug- Saturday 16th 20:00 BST/3pm EDT/12pm PDT

We are playing on the Epic server.

Server Password will be: uglypug

We are going to start off with District(or maybe Azuretowers) 10-20 minutes early for warm up and vote for the next map after everyone is in the server.

If you lag put mat_parallax "0" in your autoexec.cfg or config.cfg found in your empires/cfg folder. Also fix your rates, epic is a 66 tick server unlike viper, so put your cl_cmdrate and cl_updaterate to 66.

The event will be scheduled by the bigger clans and Emp main server group for those who are not in a clan to make it easier to see and remember when the pug starts.


Since it worked fine in the last pug, spectators will be disabled and autoassign will be on.

 

Also wouldnt be a bad idea to disable the map vote plugin and run a manual vote from suggestions at the start of each round.

I'll schedule it in the pug steamgroup (you also have admin there)

Yeah, good fun. I know some people like to bitch all the way through about lag or whatever, but the fact is that you're always welcome to leave. There's no real need to breed that kind of atmosphere. We're all there to have fun, we all know what Empires is like, otherwise we wouldn't be playing it. Just enjoy the good parts rather than bitching about the bad.
