Seemed to be the most appropriate place to announce this. I am officially stopping all production of my public empires stuff. This includes sourcemod plugins, modeling, mapping and sigscanning of the beta.
Because im sick of joining nachos and hearing "wow <plugin name> sucks ass" I'm sick and tired of people whining and bitching about this shit so I'm not going to give them the opportunity.
I don't mind the hijack plugin, Parachutes bug the hell out of me though. But since you didn't make parachutes, I can bitch about them all I want without offending you right? any rate, I'm assuming you made the anti griefing plugin as well? that one is also useful, though can be glitchy depending on how careful the person using it is being. Overall, i think it's great that we have someone working on plugins to help out the community and prevent douchebags somewhat. I honestly can't think of what the third plugin would be that you made. whats more important is, did you like making those plugins or did you do it just cause? There is a huge difference between the two. If it was the former, fuck everyone and do what you feel like doing. The fact that you even got the hijack plugin working shows quite a bit of skill on your part, and imagination. except for the APCs, it's a wonderful thing. and possibly escort, but I haven't seen an HE heavy get stolen on escort yet. anyhow, don't stop because morons say they suck.
OMG NO. !id plugin is win. !profile plugin is win. !res + tickets plugin is win. Please dont, just ignore people, if server owners dont like it, they wont use it, I love theplugins, its what makes nachos win, dont stop releasing them.
The two you mentioned arent even of the three. Those are plugins i'm working on that are still in they're beta stage. The ones Trickster mentioned on the other hand are the ones i released. Thats due to some stuff in the empires code. I should be fixable for 2.2.
