    brutos thats actually a quite good idea because that would be details that look good on a normal map

    cookies? flowers? collected heads/balls? secret brenodian nanotech?

    They just have to look like they could be opened, being really able to open them would be rather useless.

    Hey don't forget to unwrap the UV map in such a way that areas that differ greatly in colour or height are separate and have around 20 pixels of unused space between them, this way parallax mapping works from the get go

    i wont touch the UVs on that one i think
    basically its only used for detail studies and as projection source for normal map baking atm

    will those replace those over 9000 poly crates we have atm?
    how much polies will one of those have?

    the highpoly has around 60 to 70 thousand
    THOSE WONT BE IN THE GAME (i doubt the engine could even load them)
    the lowpoly has around 400
    we dont know if we leave it at this count to create a new LOD for close distance but i think we do
    the old one has around 100 (possibly next LOD down the ladder)
    and the final LOD i will create last will be just a simple box (24 polys)

    at least thats the plan im going for

    you know that in can be quite bad when people can associate your nicknames with your real name?

    I found you on studivz in under a minute, so if someone wanted to invest more time, he easily could get loads of personal data that u might not give a person u just know from the internet.

    EDIT: Oh u already changed it. THIS POST UNNECESSARY! :D

    i barely use studiVZ anymore
    and thats the only social networking site i used btw

    you will probably find a lot more entries when searching for my nickname
