BUG: I build a paper tank and try to re-equip it. What happens is the cost is the total cost of the tank plus the new armor added. Steps 1. Build a heavy tank with plain armor. 2. Go to a repair pad and try to switch it out. 3. The cost is obviously bugged. I'll display in a video. Here's the video to go along with it while I explain what happened. http://youtu.be/D018dNbn8Vs
At least last version, AFAIK, this happened when re-customizing anything. For instance, if you wanted to swap out engines, you would have to wait for your team to get 1.3k res or however much was necessary before you could do so, but IDK if that much res was actually spent swapping engines.
I think it only spends the res needed to recustomize though but won't let you do it unless the team resources is greater than the total cost of the vehicle.... Also wages don't work properly with the repair pad but I don't have any more details on that....
Yeah, this slipped through the last patch, it was actually on my list but I forgot to pass it on to Jephir. Like Cyberkiller said, it doesn't actually charge you the full cost, but it does require your team to have that much res.
I thought this was a feature to discourage people from building cheap tanks when res is low (before someone else spends the money on a better tank), and then straight away beef them up on a repairpad...
