Osama bin laden isn't even a real person. He's an image fabricated by the American government to further it's political agenda.
I feel sorry for Americans, however they deserve they shitty country...

I just wish Canada wasn't to culturally similar to America.

Yeah, but I hate people who bunch Canada and America together as the same sovereign entity.

And there a lot of people who do. :pathetic:

"Several experts on the rules of engagement in combat said that in a raid on a target as dangerous as Bin Laden, the assault team would be justified to open fire at the slightest commotion when they burst into a room."

Same article. It is extremely dangerous to play nice with this guy. He might have done a bomb or leading them to an ambush. They clearly stated that their mission was to capture or kill him, but the opportunity to capture him in such a tense event was almost impossible. Gen. Mullen stated that if he was surrendering (e.g. not resisting), they would have done to capture him even if their orders were to kill him.

Either that or just let him go. It looks like you want to latter. This isn't a false choice here as the opportunity wasn't given for another choice.

The rest of your post was dull and uninteresting.

if he would have been trialed infront of an internationl court (did he actually have to face one in the US or do you just kill whoever comes to mind) it wouldnt leave such a stale taste.
you know, its totaly normal to sentence someone in his absence ...

You are making a lot of assumptions here. Oh the youthful, idealistic mind... oh wait, aren't you the oldest guy here? You are just naive then.

Dude why? China is buying America's debt in order to float their currency. America can spend all it wants until China's market crashes.

well conservatives now have a majority so we just have to wait for america to fuck up so that stephen harper does the exact same thing they did and fuck up as well.

    Two topics at once.

Don't shoot an unarmed fugitive, take him to the UNIC. Seems like America didn't play by their own rules.

Least you don't have a super right wing party that goes around calling itself the Liberal Party. It confuses the shit out of immigrants.

Flasche can whine all he wants, but I can guarantee that he wouldn't have any issues dispensing righteous justice to Hitler's face.

It is far more complex than "if the fugitive is unarmed, you cannot take him out." The situation made it nearly impossible to consider taking him alive. I'm 100% positive that if they could have safety taken him alive, they would have.

I'm not one of those people who's into conspiracy theories, like did the US government blow up the trade towers and such. But I genuinely don't think he's dead, I think it's perfectly plausible that they captured him, and said that he's dead so that there aren't a bunch of repercussions with the demand of freeing him, which of course, they would never do.
