Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides Greatttt movie. Go see if if you've followed the series. If you haven't, you can still watch it (the plot between 1-3 and 4 aren't related), however you'll not understand the inside jokes.
in summer I ran empires in red and blue, it was fun because the NF rpg scope stuck out like an inch, but I stopped using it because I wanted to be able to differentiate colours instead of all that black and white'd shit.
I don't go to the cinema, because that would involve leaving the house for anything except work, which is a horrible thought. Is it still going to be good without 3D when I get it through "other means"?
With each day 3D becomes more and more mainstream so I'm sure it'll be available for download in 3D from some other sites.
Eww 3D. I'd rather see a movie without needing glasses that, not only makes my eyes hurt, but also ruin the view / picture.
They're all fucking amazing. Even if the 4th one "isn't quite as good" it's still going to be awesome. Lack of Keira Knightley is initially worrying though.
3d is ruining movies. watch Tron Legacy, fucking trashcan garbage movie, but it sure did go WHIZZ BANG LOOK AT ME. garbage.
I don't like 3D, because I feel like I'm watching less of a film when I don't watch it at the cinema, like I'm missing part of it. Jackass 3 certainly had that feel to it.
CGI is ruining movies. Animatronics are ruining movies. VHS is ruining movies. Colour is ruining movies. Sound is ruining movies. The man at the front of the theater playing the piano enthusiastically is ruining the magic lantern show. And you.
Chris it was a terrible movie because it did nothing to humanize the characters, which is kind of important in relation to the material. If you don't care about the characters, and feel some particular way towards them, be it love, hate, or anything, then there is no conflict and thus no drama. In the case of Tron Legacy the script was simply designed to move the plot from one light show to the next. If no one gives a shit about the magic lantern show, is it a show at all, or just some jackass with a magic lantern?
So what does that have to do with 3d? Oh yeah, jack shit, because inability to write appealing characters is a problem with all literature ever. The writer being a hack doesn't have jack shit to do with 3d or cgi or whatever.
