As if anyone somehow wouldn't know that by now, but since you want to know all the bugs and I didn't see that in the acknowledged bugs part: Rapidly placing single wall sections screws with their placement. Placing one section and then placing another will make the second section start in the middle of the previous one. The upshot is retarded looking mess of concrete that fails to provide adequate protection and is nearly half od the intented lenght. "Then dont do it and place walls in giant sections" is not a valid argument. Shit's still bugged for one, two is that doing that will net you a bullet between the eyes before you can place that. tl;dr: Fuck this place ment.
No, you're doing it wrong. The walls work like this: Click 1) - You place down the start point of your wall Click 2) - You place the wall from the spot of the previous click to the current Click 3) - You place the wall from the spot of the previous click to the current ..... It's more of a feature really.
How is that a feature? To do what you said, you have to quit wall placing and reselect the starting spot. The problem here is that upon placement, the start defaults not to the end of the previous wall, but to its middle. It worked fine ages ago, but it strated acting up some time ago.
Why would you want to start and stop a single line of walls? Also pretty sure even candles don't want to touch the code for walls.
It is so you can build walls while still behind cover, I know what z!oom is talking about it and it does indeed kinda suck.
It's always worked like this, that code hasn't been touched in years, I remember this information being present in the original Manual (!)
Oh, I know this has been around in its current state for quite a while, but Im adamant it didnt work like that before. Even if im full of shit and remembering wrong, please tell me how it is better to have it as it is right now, versus how it ,at lesat for me, should be. If its not a bug then, just move this to suggestions.
