I actually wanted to try Battle Royale, just never got the chance. But it's not really "DayZ" to be honest, even though it looks immensely fun.

I own Arma, not the standalone version. I am not touching the arma version anymore because of hiking simulator, and shitty voice settings.
There's like at least 15 different maps to DayZ, and often different subversions of those. Those maps are often modded as well. That's before we even get into private hives with custom (and usually really shitty) settings. There's probably at least 50 versions of DayZ that are played.
If this gets up and going, i'll probably gather up some weapons and a vehicle if i can. This way people wont have to do the usual suicide run into cherno/elektro and won't have to run for 40 minutes to meet up or get anywhere. I suggest we don't play some shit mod with ten billion OP weapons and 30 choppers lying around everywhere, though. Totally cool with any reasonable or interesting mods though. I've had reasonable experience with awa private hive but nobody bloody plays on their hardcore server. The pleb version server does have crosshairs disabled, though, so its bearable. Fine with playing on any server you guys want though.
battle royale with empires mod crew. That would be awesome. 15 emp mod players divided in squads of 3.
