Here's an idea, why don't we just make everything overpowered? By current game balancing, does anybody have any ideas for making, EVERYTHING overpowered? That means infantry combat, vehicle weapons, 9 mine, Scout shotgun, death lasers, one shot one kill scout rifle, etc.
Discussion about fail infantry balance is not wanted. (http://forums.empiresmod.com/showpost.php?p=330326&postcount=8) So everything is fine.
It's not wanted, and shit no one will probably implement it, but for the past year I've been playing a game with BAD, BAD developers and we discussed even though the dev never planned on implementing anything. Discuss anyway, might trigger some ideas if we go on the concept of "OVERPOWER EVERYTHING FOR BALANCE."
The idea wasn't balance the idea was to make infantry combat faster and more fun by making everything accurate and powerful. It worked in that games now seem faster and are more likely to be decided by combat skill. Making tank combat less like a long ass boxing match would probly be an improvement.
It's also fairly boring. Assuming trickster increased weapon power (game crashes a lot so I wouldn't know) they should be more balanced, but there is only so far you can go before it makes everything so powerful that there are no distinctions.
