    Howdy,

    When I play the game, and as a engineer; have you ever noticed when you side step and shoot the accuracy is still good? Even when you jump your accuracy is decent. Well I was going through our server config files, and I came across this little file.

    weapons_emp_nf_smg1.txt

    //Weapon Spread
    //When at rest
    "JumpingSpread" "0.1"
    "StandingSpread" "0.03"
    "DuckingSpread" "0.02"

    //When moving at full speed (sv_maxspeed)
    "JumpingSpreadModifier" "0.2"
    "StandingSpreadModifier" "0.02"
    "DuckingSpreadModifier" "0.015"

    //Maximum the spread can become due to spread increment per shot below
    "JumpingSpreadMax" "0.7"
    "StandingSpreadMax" "0.05"
    "DuckingSpreadMax" "0.03"

    //Increment spread by this amount for every shot fired to maximum of moving at full speed spread
    "JumpingSpreadIncrement" "0.01"
    "StandingSpreadIncrement" "0.0018"
    "DuckingSpreadIncrement" "0.001"

    //Decrease spread by this amount for every second not fired down to minimum rest spread
    "JumpingSpreadDecrement" "0.02"
    "StandingSpreadDecrement" "0.06"
    "DuckingSpreadDecrement" "0.1"

    But if you notice there is no side step measurements. Now under "//When moving at full speed (sv_maxspeed)", what I might be talking about is under that, if it is, then I think the rates need to be changed. You can strafe and move left, right, forward, etc and your accuarcy is still "good"

    Like I said I dont know if this is a bug, but this is more or less something I want to know about at the very least. >.<

    I don't get what you're trying to say. You want accuracy to decrease even more when sidestepping?

    basicly what i am getting to is there is no difference from moving or standing still. the accuarcy is still the same.

    i believe this goes for all bullet fired weapons. Try strafing, jumping and moving when your shooting someone. You wont see your bullets but you will kill the person just as easy if you where standing or crouched.

    hmm, interesting.

    If it were up to me, I would make standing still more accurate than moving crouched, so that you can fire over walls and such, or can just stand if you feel like it to shoot.
