I think that, to prevent ninjas, both teams should be confined to a relatively small space (about the size of the base/fort seen in that one map with the massive body of water in the middle) for about a minute or two, but no more than three. Aye or Nay?
What? It would give each side a chance to get its bearings as a team, set up factories/refineries/armories/radars, and such. And, like I said, it would be a ninja solution.
I think there needs to be some sort of strategy document where the devs define what are decent strategies and what aren't. Ninja'ing seems like a decent strategy in the game, so I can't understand why the players want to eliminate it. If it's an overpowered strategy, then it needs to be balanced some. I think ninjas are rare enough that they really aren't a threat except to a noob commander on one who isn't maintaining situational awareness. And without ninjaing, the scouts would be near totally useless.
I think Maxaxle meant to say rushes, not ninjas. And rushes are not really a problem, especially not with the recent APC-spawning nerf.
actually i think he meant cyclo... the two "forts" at start... this idea is stupid by the way. In empires you generally dont have enough money at the start to build a base first. THIS ISNT SOURCEFORTS!!!!!!!!!! the whole idea of the game is that the infantry rushes out to secure ref points so the comm can start building stuff asap.
