I think this is way too tall, but otherwise good. I hate the proportions on the other one, it looks cartoonish to me.
The height is one of the things that indicates its age, newer tanks are shorter. It wouldn't be any taller than the current NF med.
Ok, to be more accurate, I don't like the height relative to the rest of the tank. This would have a disadvantage compared to lower tanks, would it not?
You think you could make it a bit wider? Otherwise it's pretty cool actually. Maybe more round shapes + conflicting sharp angles, to mark it more as NF.
Well, personally, I always felt the height of the current NF med was a disadvantage compared to the low profile of the current BE med. Perhaps you could have a slightly smaller chassis with a big-ass turret on it, kinda like this tank? :
That's a heavy tank. The height shows it's a last generation tank. It will be a slight disadvantage unless an engy drops a wall for you to hide behind. Then the turret would stick over the top and give you extra protection. I think I'm going to go with this design. I'm texturing the Beast right now and the low poly is almost done. Looking like about 7-8 k polys.
Why the fuck are you modeling a hotchkiss tank? NF are RUSSIAN and BE are German/American/European. Get it together.
Lol, its not a hotchkiss little Angry. Look how small the hotchkiss is. I used the M3 Lee as inspiration. I don't like the design of Russian tanks.
