NF Soldier Reskin

I was tired of the NF beat up look; so I decided to spice them up a little bit...

that red on the helmet looks like a giant hit me sign

 

Looks like Robocop, actually. Not a bad reskin, but I'd like to see some sort of camo on NF. Like they were actual partisans, trying to blend into their enviroment.

 

They are, but also they are not. The NF is a pretty complicated entity both militarily and organizational. Mostly though they're basically a hybrid of a guerrilla force and standing army.

I think the hue of red is abit... much... maybe more the color of his sleeves? Overall very nice skin.

I like it. Looks urbany. Need a less brilliant colour for the headband, though. NF orange would probably be better

 

Looks a little washed out (in terms of color) and the hitme sign should either go completely or be way more subtle.
Use the modelviewer to make some decent screenshots or post the texture itself,
the screenshot doesn't show it well.

 

does it still have the JPL logo?

 

They are okay but indeed the red stripes on the helmet just shouts: "I'M RIGHT HERE SHOOT ME, HIT ME, KILL ME!!"

Also I don't like so dark colored skin on NF too. BE already uses black/grey colors. NF should have bit lighter colors.

So, reduce the darkness of them and remove those red stripes on helmet and we're good.

 

why not change it to a bright orange model so you can see that sneaky ninja hiding beside your CV?

 

Replace the red stripes on the sides with a red star on the front, and I'll definetely use this.

 

And that is exactly why we will need screenshots for league matches

 

anyone that downloads this has the advantage of seeing that hit me tag, while ppl that dont DL it are then at a dis advantage, i suggest you get it for the hell of not being easy to see while you cant see the enemy easily

 

That little red stripe is alot harder to see than the already omnious orange of NF. Plus, its easy to confuse with Brenodi soldiers.

 

Make the red stripe pink.
And put a big flower across their chests

 

I made it for myself, if you don't want or don't like it don't download it; it is that simple KILLX. If I wanted purple assholes running around so I can get an advantage I would have done that a long time ago; but then the game would look like shit; so I didn't do that...

The red stripe is not a hit me sign; most of the time you are too far away to notice it; if anything this reskin makes the NF soldiers look more like Brenodi making it more difficult...

When you do actualy see that thing; its no more of a hit me sign then any other feature on the texture, like the "plates"

(though because of JJ's suggestion, I will tone down the stripe just a little bit and put a star on the front of the helment; that seems like a nice suggestion)

Also I made another small reskin, making the cammo more pronounced and made the shirt a light red... Now NF look like farmers... its quite funny actualy... Im going to post screenies when the server gets back on ;;
