Now i have thought about this a little.. i cant remember whether the nf comm has two exhausts on top of it or just one but i think it would look cool if there were plumes of smog comming out of the exhausts much like an american truck. I thought this would be quite easy seems as we have dust comming up from the wheels of all vehicals now they have been implomented client-side. I figured you would just use the same method. Putting this in the game would realy as some character to the NF comm and if this was implomented alongside new engine sounds the nf comm would just be pure WIN... Like the idea?
If vehicles could start doing damage to vehicles through crashing, I think the NF command vehicle can deal a nuke's damage on everything, so some thick, black smoke to give away it's location wouldn't be at a loss.
Wow! Something is wrong with that truck! Anyways, the enemy should have to look for the CV instead of having a thick black smoke arrow pointing at it (and especially if the arrow only exists for one team), so I don't like this idea.
Wrong with what truck? It's just a big-rig burning some sooty-ass fuel. Or not getting enough oxygen into the engine.
Well the idea was that there would only be a little smog when the vehical was ' turned on' and more would be produced when it started moving. Oh and how can you hide the nf comm, its not like its hard to miss. Also the smoke wouldn't be obstructing much as it would be comming out of the topo not the ground.
ok how much smoke do you guys reli imagine comming out of a exhaust? reli? If you can see the smoke i bet you could see the comm... its big and red! well anyway you guys flamed this one to death so im out.
Dudes, no, this idea is cool! What is wrong with you people? I mean, you can see the NF CV from the other side of the map anyway! And it's not like you need to aim to hit it, no matter which way you point there it is! Adding smoke just makes you feel better about having the world's hugest "HIT ME!" sign.
Because everybody will think the CV is damaged, and every week when someone new joins they will post that it is a bug.
light coloured smoke when the CV is ok, dark/flaming when its damaged... Oh and this suggestion rocks!
