meh since moderators obviously are to lazy to do it: CUT THAT SHIT YOU TWO. theres noone interested in reading such crap*... *well actually im mildly amused about by how retarded one can be ...
Dunno I remember neotokyo like that: Select light class, when the game starts sprint as fast as possible to a hiding spot as far away as possible, snipe enemy team when it runs past you Edit: also smoke spam party
That is true if you play against new people and bad players. Seasoned people will know what are the spots a person can get to so they tend to just shoot you in the face. OR toss a grenade the second they catch a tiny glimpse of you. I will say I like how grenades work, at least when your team doesn't fumble it and have it bounce back killing your entire team.
See? I'm not the only one who thinks Teef doesn't speak English! My grandma once did that to my cousin. Turns out, washing a young boy's mouth out with soap only makes him want to try and blow bubbles.
Not to get into the middle of it, but teef, you need to stick to the issue at hand instead of resorting to bad paraphrasing and then personal insults. at any rate, neotokyo just seems to lack balance. If you do bad, or have a bad start, you are forever disadvantaged compared to both other players on your team and your team against the enemy team. If the guns were maybe bought like in CS, then people could save up to buy the better guns, it'd be alright. but requiring 20 points to get the good weapons with range or ammo capacity really messes with the balance of the game as a whole.
Not really. A lot of games penalise you when you get behind, it's not a bad or good mechanic, it's just a mechanic. If you want to catch up then pick up a weapon off someone who died and then don't die, you'll keep it for the next round.
It's a source 2006 game so it has to be run in fullscreen, which means you can ramp the brightness up. But yeah, shadows are a big part of the game to some extent.
the command line options -windowed - borderless still work in that version. As far as the mechanic of the weapons and such, Its annoying on maps with a lot of open areas to get caught in. Then again, I'm not much of a hard core player, so I don't really care for sneaking around the interiors, but prefer to exploit moving around the exterior perimeter, or holding a defensive position with a wind view angle and some cover. Having a decent mid to long range weapon is a huge advantage to playing that way, but they aren't immediately available. Dunno, it doesn't work for how I like to play.
