The point im trying to make is that, until I looked it up and read a info page. I didn't know what the fuck the game was pulling from. Here is what I would have done. I would remove the exact names of where it was inspired from and just put the word "sci-fi moives" and "anime" and let the people figure it out for themselves. That way I am not obligated to make anything look like anything and do whatever the fuck I want with it.
I'm confused. Why does it matter what it's "pulling from"? People usually say stuff like "inspired from" or "themed like" etc, but it's just a general thing. And you already know "sci-fi movies" and "anime" probably wouldn't work. Maybe they just didn't want people always going "this is like gits!" and being all facepalm because they know, that's what they were going for.
By them telling me exactly what they are pulling from, I am expecting all the awesome cool shit from the show. Like the spider tanks, the hacking or equivalent of diving, the parkour, and martial arts fights. This is a form of hyping. No, its just people shooting people on interesting map designs. I bet if they added the people hacking each-other mechanic it would add more variation and fun, hell the tanks that can climb walls and stand on ceilings would make shit interesting too.
Never, I am a perfect human being that doesn't loose his mind over dumb bullshit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIb2KoQRoRQ Expecting shit like this is too much from a mod team, but it certainly can be done.
There's a lot of stuff you can do with money to pay for engine licensing, dedicated coders and professional artists.
They modified the engine greatly, it's essentially they're own engine in the same way goldsrc is Valve's own engine. Strangely you say that you don't expect this from a mod team but your post from before said that you were expecting it because of the inspirations?
Empires has what.. Like 12 different vehicle models and 6 bases. I bet candles can post a code to make them drive up walls and stick to them.
I don't see how that has relevance to anything in this thread. When did I ever say creating models was impossible? I was referring to shit like parkour and, yes, stuff driving up walls being inefficient. If you've ever played Empires, you'd notice the vehicles don't even hold their own too well, 4 people in a jeep rubberbanding has nothing on the BF engine or Unreal engine's seamless vehicle passengers.
Basically you want a mod to do something they didn't want to do, in order to justify that you can't really understand the English language. Cool.
Your paraphrasing makes no sense, it's as if you have lost the ability to read. I didn't expect much from you though so I can't say I'm too disappointed. I even addressed the issue with vehicles in Empires then you write that I was claiming that we weren't talking about empires? How is it that in the USA someone of your mental capacity could make it to university?
Cool story bro. Tell me how you know more about something you don't play. You are right, I did mis-read that. But you are still wrong, insults aside. Your respect for people is astonishing, obviously nobody bothered to put soap in your mouth. How is it that somebody raised in Canada doesn't have a sliver of common courtesy?
If you, paradox, and Alucard were the only people in the world then sure, nobody. Oh and please tell me how much of a spoiled brat I am, I don't even understand where that one comes from.
