Medals system for stats

so stats are being tracked ?

well working or not, when it IS working we should have a system whereby you are given medals for significant milestones in stat accumulation.

service medals for hours played
valour medals for numbers revived
commanding medals for.. well... commanding
etc etc

i am not sure where exactly what medals a player has would be shown, as i don't think there is room for it on the scoreboard, but definitely at least in the commander vote window for obvious reasons.

 

You mean... almost like... like Steam Achievements? *dramatic sound*

 

yes, but for empires mod and all the achievements specific to it :\

 

The devs made it very clear the stats won't be publicly available, they are intended for aiding in balancing.

 

We might change plans.

 

There needs to be at least a "Played 10/50/100/500/1000 games" with the last one called "Has no life outside duty".

 

Oh, the irony...

 

And we already have proposed achievements
