Now you're just nitpicking, no reason to be angry about my statement. Your turbo smooth or whatever was baked into the mesh at import, I can't do anything about that. This is just your regular old poly mesh, with normals apparantly inverted, but other than that, theres nothing special about it. Also I didn't touch the normal direction, so it might have happened when I imported wookie's. It's basically wookie's sphere, with some adjustments.
will see what i can do i didnt mean it as moaning, i just wanted to point out, what was wrong (i didnt even say it was you, could have been the import/export too) and where there are gonna be probs in the future but i predict that there will be more probs when you get it, as different programs have different conventions of modeling sometimes

FBX allows for lots of presets. It's important to use a version of fbx we all support though, generally it might be best to export as version 2006. But if you're running any Autodesk 2011 programs, you could import 2011 version and everything below. (or you could just download the plugin)
