That's nice except for the tire tracks don't fit. They would have to be tan-brown or dark-brown instead of grey-brown.

That giant rock looks strange up close.

everything you've done so far is awesome keef!

the bridges arent too artsy, thats a load of crap imo. they look awesome.

eye candy never hurt anyone. I also disagree about making the wooden bridges wider by any more than say 50%... right now they are one of those places that makes you have a little "oh shi--" moment until you are over them, especially if you dont have time to slow down... tension = fun I always say.

the new rock in the middle is awesome, as are the textures, but is it just a wierd angle that makes the rock look crooked?

edit: oh yeah what about the craptastic hitboxes on the satellite dishes? is there anything that can be done about those? as of right now they are so frustrating to use as inf cover that they arent worth it.

the only things that need fixing in mvalley are radar dishes and the big rock, they have that stupid invisible thing that blocks fire for no obvious reason

looking through any sort of air, there's a loss of contrast in objects further away from the observer.... like, check this screenshot.

so i totally agree that there should be some fog of some sort in the sense that, it doesn't stop you ever seeing the other side of the map, but it does make objects further away a little bit less focussed. because that looks sorta unnatural at the moment.

I would add a ladder to the top of the dam so people don't have to wall boost to get up there.

I don't know has this been meantioned before because I don't feel like reading through this whole topic but I would like to see some more cover there so there would be other good places for bases than just the starting bases and the north.

Center is somewhat okay location for a base too but ALL THE ROADS lead there, more or less, so it is very vulnerable.

the map layout is good for a 2 front war, any other locations for bases would split the map up a bit too much imo.

Maybe the top of the dam can be made to hold a barracks and possible armory?

Other than that i don't see any other way to adding any more bases.

But yes i do agree more cover for infantry in the open area, tall bushes, but no brushwork

Armoury on, or just near to, dam would be fine. Have you considered actually using map based ammo boxes?

I would enjoy random ammo boxes
This map doesn't need any gameplay changes if you ask me...just make it look better and its all good

there is loads of space to plonk a refinary down once you infantry are on the enemy side of the dam.

Seeing as i'm too lazy to read all of this, these are my ideas.

Ladders from top of dam building to dam path.
Make it so its less NF balanced.

At the moment NF get the north first, and the dam first. This is bad.

ya in the new placement I put the bridges they are the same as BE side(ie not as strait and easy) and I've kinda started to just remake the dam from scratch, not the change the gameplay of it by a ridiculous amount but to make it look cooler, bigger and more epic. (which consequently also means it is centered directly on the center of the map)

I was fukin around with some textures and blends and was using a copy of mvalley as test subject and thought it actually looked rather cool so I post for luls.

The current dirt texture seems a little blurry. How about a different one?

When you remake the dam, I think replacing the ramps with something more
interesting like a buildable bridge that slowy elevates from the ground or
anything better than just a block would be awesome.

EDIT: what about using converted NF building textures for the dam :3
