And nuts to American's stealing British names, Canada has a ton of Brit names too, and it's because British settlers named villages after British Cities. For instance in Canada we have Stratford on the river Avon, and London on the Thames river. I was born in Cambridge and went to school in Preston

 

Here in Burlington, we have Elgin St named after the British Sir Elgin. we used to be a colony, so theres a lot of British stuff

 

Killx gets an official Empiresmod seal of epic fail for fucking around with the settings and breaking it, placing pins by random should work now.

 

I was able to place mine just fine, but i didn't bother searching, i just knew where I lived. It seems to work ok except for when people decide to place random pins in the atlantic ocean. *shakes fist menacingly*

 

At least I couldn't place the marker simply by pressing the map.

So I searched for Jousniementie and found out that there were at least two other roads called like that. Well, I entered the ZIP code, the city's name and the full address and poof, it was there right in the right place.

Just be more accurate and you'll find your place eventually.

 

I zoomed in till i saw my apartement, then i placed the marker.

 

There aren't that big and/or sharp zooms at all countries.
