I've got cw_gorge but again, it's a map that would benefit from some minor fixes. Mainly because the CVs spawn next to eachother outside of the map which is a bit lame. I don't know how playable the map really is though, it was more of a training map I think. Which reminds me of a couple of maps that may be missing from my list but I probably have lying around. Specifically a training map Flasche made (Arena?), and some other map I have lying around called scrim_warmup. I'll see if I get time to make a list of extra maps that weren't included in my pastebin above. Realistically though, anything in that list I 99% probably have.

If you guys do your best to find as many maps as you can, be it from game banana or whatever, then I can pitch in. I'm not willing to systematically go through my old installs and reconstitute map installs, it would take me days of doing nothing but that. I am however willing to fill in gaps once you've exhausted all other options.
Yes.. Yes, it was a training map, but well suited for those hours where there were at most 5 players online. I'm not sure why the CV's are in the map anyways, but I think it was because that way the map wouldn't end except for when the tickets we're down. If you don't have a CV you need to place a capturable flag right? I think it needs some other touchups as well. Some models must have changed in the past 7 years.
id like to play break again, although you would probably have to fix the vehicle spawner i could do it if you give me the vmf in the files, i never release a map without vmf

emp_Red_Alert is shite, it was my first empires map and i thought i could make empires into red alert style rts not taking into account people rocket snipe buildings with rpg and so forth oh wait, thats no longer revelvant, since you cant do that anymore
I talked to Creeper, he has every single map. Apparently 3 years ago (Or maybe it was months, sorry I am really drunk right now), they went through the old maps to see which ones did or didn't work. Perhaps you could ask him for the folder with every single map to see if he can put it up?
Why not just host it and put it up? Some people may be willing to update and get the maps in working order for the community.

I contributed for over 5 years in time and money. I never said I own the maps, and you can get them from other players and other sources. but neko baron its people like you why I shut down viper and stopped contributing.
The devs very much want to archive all the maps. Yeah like I'm not going to get involved in any inter-server squabbling or disagreements, but I'm going to make it abundantly clear that I think any idea that someone "owns" maps, with the exception of the original creator. There are grey areas here where multiple people worked on them or someone "fixed" them. For example, most maps with an "a" after them (temple_b3a, ward_rc2a, etc) were fixed by me, but I certainly don't claim anything over that given how little I did. I know in some cases to make them engine compatible or fix issues with vehicle spawners, it took a lot more work, so there's maybe "some" ground, though I personally again do not agree with it at all. As far as I'm concerned, maps are the property of either the creator or the community as a whole, it's something I feel extremely strongly about. As I've said to Avatrix, if he can't find the maps anywhere else, I will help, but I'd rather not have to upload too much as my upload connection is extremely slow (~40kB/s) and I have limited time to extract the maps from my past archived installs. However, if certain maps cannot be sourced from anywhere else, I will provide anything I have, as well as anything of any past servers I have been involved with. My only proviso is that anything I provide should be rehosted publicly for anyone to access.

So I pmed Tama and asked if its the devs who wanted to archive the maps and he told me yes, at that time I told him I am happy to give the devs w/e I have.
