first, second, all of the landers were calculated and fuelled for carrying their full load capacity, some Saturn 5's had stages that were dropped with still up to 5 or 10% of fuel left inside. this was done to keep each mission to a set plan, and to have a flexible launch platform that could carry larger science packages if needed
Can you go back to KSP and make your own thread for discussing the age-old problem of US vs Russia thankyouvermuch
blizzerd--Ah ok, for some reason I ignored what you said earlier about 2 capsules being in orbit. I understand (what an idiot I was) now. Thats my last offtopic post. That said, if theres any life left in this space race/ exploration topic id love to talk about it in more detail. Someone fancy making a thread for it?
I also think 0.23 should be coming out in the next few days if last years kerbalkon is anything to go by
I've not put in many hours into KSP recently which I'm kind of regretting. I did restart and vow only to use a vanilla install but I've got a bit bored of it. I just wish it didn't take so long to maintain all the mods, I really want to run; deadly re-entry That one wot makes kerbin look awesome kethane home the life support mod Sat comms But I just know it won't be long until there is an update which breaks one of the mods or the whole save game. Research tree was a boon though, I got a good few hours kicks out of that. I am a science junkie - though they should maybe have instruments accumulate science over time rather than having to constantly spam the instruments for measurements and then spam the transmissions.

Those came in after like 5 videos. Also LF for a fool brave soul to go to the sun in a three-man operation.
0.23 is out now. Good luck downloading if you arent on steam. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/content/240-KSP-0-23-Is-Live!
Has anyone used RemoteTech mod? I just got it installed for 0.23 Its really good, has really made designing missions more challenging.
