    Heidi, girls of the alps= Rippoff of the original one, Heidi = No anime, read the story, or more like got read to me? Dunno, never seen the anime version though
    Maya the bee= Meh, not actively seen this
    Piccolino= never seen it, only read the story
    Taotao= Never heared of

    wrong, though heidi (swiss), maja (german) and pinocchio (italian) originally were books, all those series were produced by japanese comic artists. hell i even posted the wiki articles below ...
    taotao was originally japanese as the only exception here, but i had to post it because it was so overly dramatic and cute ...

    also dont try to tell me shit about my childhood :o

    Look at my edited post, just lost connection while editing and had to wait minutes until it was back up ...
    I never watched any of those ;)
    Heidi is a normal film with actors and stuff hence no anime, there is maybe an anime of this, but ... I consider this a blantant ripoff, it's like if I were going to make a pokemon film in hollywood :x
    And btw, about your childhood, sorry I have to tell you but ... ok I won't tell you :p
