A new, primarily Northern Faction military division, with a mere 17 active spots in total. Skill based, and recruits, invites, rather then to takes offers. In this division, anyone can join, but they can be "pushed out" when they meet their better, if they want to join, that is. Even so far as that I as the leader can be pushed out. Teamplay is a must, as well as coördination and advanced strategic knowledge, getting "pushed out" if one outskills the other is based on a combination of those three. Invitation on basis of friendships is not an option, though all member are required to get along to a certain extent. Recruiting begins as soon as my computer is fixed and I can personally participate in combat. (Feel free to PM if you are interested to try-out whenever you want, though. We won't recruit on mere sight but I, as a rather average player, will personally take all the requests once I am able to.) Positions: Admiral: - Slithzerikai Officers: - - Ensigned: - - - - - - - Reserve: - - - - - - - (Reserve are any players who are previously pushed out, this may contain me if this happens too. Personally if you get "Pushed out" and bear no grudge, you can remain here and be a "volunteer" for any clan wars where certain ensigned happen to be unavailable.) The rank of admiral can be aquired when expert skill is shown in battle, I take this position by default and can be pushed down in rank, before taken out, but outside of battle I am the leader of the division, this is not to be taken in question at any time. Only the admiral and officers can take up the position of in-game commander, ensigned are to do the bidding of the commander and squad leaders, and the remaining officer(s) and admiral will take positions of leadership in two seperate squads. Squad ensigned are to execute the squad leader's commands without question. Incompetence in battle will be sanctioned, the punishment depending completely on the severity of his/her mistake (The sanctions, however, will be decided by the squad leader, the commander, and myself once the game is done. My opinion when not there will not count, but I need to stay informed on who does what). In clan wars there will be at least 1 officer present, and 5 ensigned. Clan wars with the Jekotian 9th Division highguard will consist of a 6 versus 6 all-out battle on a map chosen on beforehand. (Maps like emp_money, emp_district, emp_escort or any otherwise faction biased maps will be out of the question) Members of the Jekotian 9th Division Highguard will keep in contact through XFire, there is no forum because I have fuck all knowledge on how to set one up. Clan wars will also be discussed on XFire, and so will alliances. UPDATE: I made 8 cheap combat logo "tagging" related sprays, featuring a recognition icon and 8 of them displaying "9th". They look cheap, because I want to press on semi-realism, and in combat you won't often have time to make an artwork on the wall. Free pickings by members, not a requirement but a preferance. They look as close to actual spraypaintings as I can get them, might make proper ones in the future.

It also says "Or otherwise faction biased maps", indicating that they not nescessarily are. I find emp_money to be too 2-Fortesque, and prefer a map like emp_canyon and the like.

The actual logo is the globe with the blue background, the yellow and red is the provincial Jekotian flag this division sprung from, once my writers block is over I will write a big-ass story in the Storyline section.

You do realize that an admiral is the commander of a navy, and that there's no naval warfare in empires(yet), right??
Actually in my story (and since Im a Dev, its the offical story) you have one Supreme Commander of all forces, a handfull of High Commanders who control large areas including a number of Commanders. Commanders who are the ones in game who have control of a command vehical and thus a small army (or platoon I supose). Under a Commander are two Lt. Commanders (not in game, but maybe one day) who each command two or three squads. Each squad is led by a seargent who is the squad leader. Below him are the normal grunts.
Yes, yes I do. But I never said we would not participate in naval combat alone. Infact, we will participate on all aspects of the game. It will be, and remain to be, an admiral leading the officers and ensigned. I'm using the "Alliance Marines" ranking system. This is basically how the division is ran. The reserves may also often enough participate in training exercises, and may easily climb up to ensign again if they get better. This division is going to be all about "Eat or be eaten". Shame I don't have the funding for a server, but I'm sure we can occupy already available and empty ones. I'm really a sucker for clans, can't make a forum, or website, or even host a server. All I have going for me is my strategic knowledge and persistence.
