Is Empires dead, dying, or just on hold...

if you mean railroad then i understand, but atol and midbridge are awesome.

Midbridge is great.

Atol would be better if the textures weren't so similar everywhere, and if all the random holes you fall into and get stuck in were fixed

Hell u could even ask steam for some help, im sure they'd be more than happy to give u a bit of a hand (for a small price :p) but i think they would help u cus it would be good publisaty on them. also the steam coders ARE people after all, and im sure that mabe some of them would be intersted

I don't normally have a problem finding a fullish server. That's more than most mods in the quite pathetic (playerwise) HL2 mod community. The game is solid enough as it is to maintain at least some level of interest and we all know how much more effort krenzo and crew have put into this mod than pretty much all other HL2 mods combined.

I don't see where anyone can get off with complaining (trolling) about the current status when they've had more than their fair share of the game.

 

But if Empires got aids, that means that we can continue to share it!

Well, this mod will live on. Stop these bad thoughts, if it lives or dies, only time will tell (it'll take a LONG time).

You guys just need to trust them and when its done try it with an open mind and if you still don't like it then go back to 2.0... Krenzo wouldn't hand over his baby for a couple of people to ruin..

Oh I definitely trust in mootant's abilities, but the way he feels about the current version of Empires just feels a bit weird to me tbh.

Maybe I should have a talk with him. But not tonight because I'm going to buy 2 burgers and I'm going to bed

 

I was actually present for a conversation between Dizzy and MOOtant recently while sitting in spec. Having seen just maybe 15 minutes of what they were discussing I at best got only a glimpse of what MOOtant had in mind, but his ideas for Empires seemed to me thought out and reasonable. Dizzy threw out some really interesting ideas as well. If this is the direction that Empires is taking, then I agree with Dubee. I think it will be fine.

 

Post that DOC then, im Tired of MOOtant's exsessive bitching; with no concrete plans of what he plans to change. He seems to be spitting in his own well; not even a single thread in the closed testers forum; which should contain the Empires most loyal... and no "Idiots" that are unwilling to listen to the great masterplan...

 

What shinzon said. It'd be nice to be not completely uninformed about mootant's ideas.
