IRC server?

    Sure (+ admin abuse rights).

    I'm torn between InspIRCd and ircu (GameSurge uses that + srvx).

    Inspircd is good (I never tried using it but I like it)
    I'm using UnrealIRCd for Dustnet, if you set a server up i can link you as a hub (two leafs are enough already, but the hub fails sometimes :P )

    set up an empires server? so we can all have irc mafia/infiltrators and that tf2 spy hunting game varbles suggested and fantasy baseball?

    dont touch ircd-seven with a 10 foot pole, otherwise bots wont be able to connect to it.
