Havent played since 2.25 but now im getting "Invalid steam userid ticket" fail when i connect to the servers. I understand that NAT setting and whatnot can cause it, but it doesnt happen in other online steam games. Also im pretty sure I have played empires via this connection before. I completely downloaded and reinstalled but it still happens. Also im only seeing 5 servers is that correct ?
5 servers yes. Try deleting clientregistry.blob in your steam folder, restarting steam, and trying to reconnect again. Usually works.
Excellent thanks weird that isnt in the steam wiki thing Nothing much have changed it feels a bit nostalgic to be standing waiting and screaming for ref placement for most of the game.
yeh i had that problem after 2.25. nothing that googling and STEAM forum search that didnt solve. it does still occur sometimes, but its just a minor inconvinience.
