Post all those little game gems that might be overlooked easily otherwise. Looking for games with fresh ideas so no mainstream or open world survival pls. This looks absolutely hilarious:
I will still link Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. It came out not too long ago and is a really cool asymmetrical party game. Plus it's gonna be a blast in VR. Darkest Dungeon is aiming for an early 2016 release. It's a dark, somewhat challenging dungeon delver strategy and management sort of thing. Extremely atmospheric. I recommend it in its current form already. That's indies. As for bigger titles, Deadpool is on sale right now. If you know Deadpool, that's what you can expect from the writing. Gameplay is akin to the older Arkham games.
IDK how YT playlists will work on whatever forum format this is but here's a really good series from Extra Credits about overlooked but interesting games.
Well, thats a lot of stuff in those 12 videos... Also a good channel for game design hints, take a sharp look all you wannabe devs.
Extra Credits is probably the best video game vlog besides Totalbiscuit. The only downside is that it is very much geared towards game devs rather than consumers so they end up talking less about prices and consumer welfare but more about how you would make your game. Here's my recommendations: FTL Faster Than Light Risk Of Rain Down well Three dirt cheap roguelikes that all have their own spin, a huge amount of depth and a huge amount of skill required to play. Play difficult games, not AAA games and you'll enjoy yourself a lot more and you'll never feel like you wasted your time. Misery Mod for STALKER Call Of Pripyat gets a mention ofc.
