Rules are secret for now, but it will be both simper and (hopefully) better than previous Infiltration games. One rule I will post now: Frequent participation is mandatory. If you do not post something every few days, you will be kicked from the game. I don't mean to be cruel or unfair, but it's always been a problem when only a few people actually play while the rest sit around waiting to be "killed." There will be more opportunities for each and every person to do stuff, no more special ability classes and useless base crewmen. It's gonna be different, and chances are it could just not work out. Still, I'm experimenting here, so anything could happen. If anyone want's to help me finish puzzling out the rules or help me run the game, I would really appreciate it. EDIT: Info on proposed gameplay stuff is on second page now. It's totally awesome and you should read it! 0. aaaaaa50 <--- Game Master. 1. PreDominance <--- I'm totally not lying, man. 2. List so far: 0. aaaaaa50 <--- Game Master. 1. PreDominance <--- I'm totally not lying, man. 2. Grantrithor <--- Has a risky battleship. 3. Complete <--- whatev 4. Deadpool <--- Somewhere? 5. Aeoneth <--- Leaping over tall buildings. 6. Devouraw <--- In despite significant lack of awesomness. 7. Trickster <--- Gonna be mad 8. Predator <--- Inside....something? If I was doing a game simliar to previous Infiltration games, then I would just link you to those threads. What I want to do is different, so I recommend you read about the werewolf game first. In the real-world werewolf game, players are sitting around a table. It's fun because people are lying to each other's face. In the forums, however, it's much harder to figure out if someone is lying without some kind of facts What I want to do for the game is this: (LOOK HERE DON'T SKIP IT'S INFO ABOUT THE GAME STUFF TIME! ) Everyone will either be the crew of a spaceship (or maybe a spacestation, I haven't decided which yet). You're going to be roleplaying a member of the crew. There won't be any special magical powers or abilities given to anyone, only the natural skills for whatever member of the crew you are. You don't know what the infiltrator's objectives are, only that your captain (me) was brutally murdered. If everyone suddenly abandons their normal ship duties, then the ship stop working properly and the ship itself will be vulnerable to being blown up by Jekotian ships or hit by errant asteroids or any other cosmic disaster, and your duty to patrol the sector and guard Brendoli colonies will be compromised. Details about the ship, it's subsystems, and crew positions depend on how many players sign up, but everything will be connected. As a separate crewmember, you will be in different places and see things other crewmembers don't see. Sabatoge leaves evidence, and murder leaves even more evidence. As a small, understaffed defense patrol ship, the only weapons are designed to attack spaceships, not fellow crewmembers. While the infiltrators could certainly "win" by killing everyone, not only is doing so difficult, but the infiltrators true objectives are only known by them. So, uh, that's kind of the basic idea. Everyone roleplays, I determine what happens, and your actions may result in the death of millions of Brendoli Empire's colonists and the loss of hundreds of important defensive instalations and warships, and the failure of your duty as members of the Empire's finest navy officers...... or the infiltrators may just be insane zealots who want to blow your insignificant little spaceship up. What do all of ya think? :D Edit: Ooooh, second page, perfect!
Yes yes i'm in, altough my mom says i'm too smart and beautiful to play with you kids. I just hope there aren't too many experiments in this round.
