Every infantry map I play, one team is reviving all the time, and the other doesn't revive at all. Last night, I was playing a round of escort where I was sitting on top of the second flag (with hide) for at least 5 minutes (thats how we managed to capture the first flag, me hiding on it.) NF was desprately trying to find me, and BE was unable to remove NF from that flag during that time... NF just kept on reviving without a nearby respawn point, and held the flag. The whole thing was funny and sad at the same time. It seems no matter what infantry map I play, it's always one-sided like this. One sided games suck for both sides, because you either get steamrolled, or theres no challenge in it at all. This post probably won't stop anyone from skill stacking, but I still think this problem needs to be brought up. [/rant]
On Escort it's like that a lot for BE. No one revives on BE because there are "infinite" spawns, they're just trying to cap the flags and going roflleman/grenadier. The engineers who DO have revive aren't the ones normally pushing forward so whoever ran in first probably isn't going to be revived. On district it's a lot different, both teams are reviving because it's such a big factor in winning. (Not that it isn't in Escort, it just doesn't seem like it is.) Also, when BE does start reviving on Escort, it's like... after the first two flags, because all the bodies are in that big corridor it's easy to revive.
I'm talking about all infantry maps here. I was just using a game of escort as an example. I see the single-sided revive situation on district almost every single game.
You know, there's always stacking on that one map where there's wreckage everywhere and small channels that BE engineers have to "build" bridges over...Anyway, last time I played it, BE got a few heavies and NF was steamrolled...until some grenadiers blew it up, only to get ninja'd. There is just [almost] no way for the NF to win that map.
What game are you playing? NF seems to win most of the time, due to excessive reviving, and level 3 turret spam. When BE wins, they are the ones reviving, and have at least 1 smart heavy tank. The name of the map is emp_escort btw.
@Jcw: Yeah, that sounds right. Anyway,that map is very vehicle-invasion-prone and very ninja-prone. Both of which I hate.
I usually play NF on escort because i like it more. On district I play with people I like and not with people that are better.

I have this crazy idea to fix the situation, I might be way off base but whatever, bear with me....Ok here is my wacky strategy...when one team is reviving themselves like mad, you go engineer and get revive and start doing it too.
screw that, going rifleman/gren myself and bitch about not getting revives from my lesser good team mates is a much better plan since im so 1337 at pew pewing compared to them. /sarcasm... yet true for lots of people sadly enough.
You think I haven't tried this before? One guy reviving doesn't do much, since there is nobody to revive him if he dies. Last time I tried it, we lost because nobody else on the team knew how to kill people effectively as a rifleman, and nobody else on the team was reviving.
A no revive brush would do wonders for flag maps, place one around a flag and you can capture it easier, though you won't be able to mass revive your troops there.
got it , make team joining completely random, no choice in the matter, tis ONLY auto assign with no team switch allowed
