Improved Standard ML

    So, I have a feeling that the IStdCn is going to dissapear for balance reasons. Instead, why not just give NF an improved little missile launcher. Maybe 45 or 50 damage (instead of 40) and slightly improved accuracy. The gap between BE and NF isn't really that big so it would only need to be a small improvement.

    Pros
    -improved faction balance while increasing the difference between them.

    Cons
    -could be hard to balance, StdMl is already one of the best weapons by heat and weight, improving that could allow it to replace upgraded weapons.

    ISTD is going as soon as the models get fixed.

    But similar models with the same weapons would be to easy to balance. What should we then discuss here?

    I would suggest:

    IStdCn damage:45 Explosion Radius:350
    StdCn damage: 40 Explosion Radius:300

    IStdML 50 damage Projectile Spread 1.5
    StdML 40 damage Projectile Spread 1.0

    PS: Can someone tell me the meaning of Explosion Force?

    Force is how much it pushes entities.

    ISTD is a terrible idea, just like mkIIs when someone decided "whatever we'll just throw this in and release, it'll be fine"

    Here's the problem: It doesn't fucking work like that.

    The point of IStd cannons is that they are a temporary counterbalance against light tanks. This would have worked fine if the devs anticipated the compounding buffs BE received in the last patch. Most likely, cannons themselves will be reworked in next release.

    Well they didn't pay much attention to what they did, it only seemed like a small change but the damn thing got turned into HE.

    kylegar told me in spec that they had not anticipated the compounding buffs BE received in the last patch and will rectify this in the next.
