i like how the forum litterally died the day dwarf fortress 2010 came out

It is the gas type, not the blood one. I'm not gonna fight it soon, I don't want to risk my axedwarves badass as they may be.

 

i herd in the pod-casts that some creatures have blood that spreads plagues, can anyone confirm?

 

Yeah, forgotton beasts with dangerous blood, well, It can kill, and I think it may cause a plague that causes rotting or something.

 

We already had skeletal carp that are immune to death in .31.01, we are already screwed.

I now have a horse leather flute, it menaces with spikes of horse leather, it is decorated with dog leather, on the flute is an image of a toad in hammerhead shark leather.

I have a wind instrument made out of leather? How would that work?

 

i just learned the hard way that 8 chained mighty elephants stand no chance against 2 copper axegoblins
now i had to forbid all soap because half of my fort was covered in holy liquid
(soap seems to not work at all ..)

Removing [MULTIPLE_LITTERS:RARE] from dwarven females makes many laughs ensure as they start giving birth to triplets or twins or other multi-baby groupings.

 

I've considered doing that, but i dont want a dwarfsplosion of useless toddlers every year.
One could makes dwarves butcherable and skinnable though.. then one could have a fortress living offa dwarven leather.

 

True, I did it simply so my female dwarven champions would have extra shields.
