place random mine clusters on the map and hope he drives over them + spam salvo homing ml's instead of just going in a scout speeded apc and sticky bomb him?
    i see.

or you could just not fail at driving. That works too.

How far away did those mines explode from? Way in front of the hitbox for sure.

both chases had good drivers but the easiest way to capture cvs is via abf

Needs an emp_catchthatcomm. That was the most fun I've had in a chase ever.

We need a server plugin so that whenever the commander is the last of his teams units alive the Benny Hill theme is automatically played, and is unmutable.

Explain yourself, there are noobs in the room.

Yeah, it was hilariously pitiful. I figured out where I was in the chase a few times. I was right behind the CV when it finally blew!

the absolute build field is the area around the commander (a sphere with a radius of roughly 10 meters) where the commander can build without interference from enemies, no matter how near they are. for example, if theres an apc right next to your cv, you can still place a barracks behind him.

you can use the ABF to capture enemy cv's. heres a guide, but i think the community would benefit much more from a video:

    1. open command view, select the build tab and click on walls so that a wall preview is on your cursor. do this so we can place walls after entering command view without having to select them.

    2. get scout speed. its much easier to do this with a faster vehicle.

    3. block the enemy command vehicle. the most effective angle to block a cv is from the front because reverse acceleration is considerably slower than forward acceleration. it gives you more time to do the walls

    4. immediately enter command view. the best way to do this is to get enough momentum to drift into the trajectory of the enemy cv and enter command view before the collision.

    5. drop walls infront and behind the command vehicle, and then on both of the sides.

    hope that was helpful
