I got around to watch the last episode of HIMYM ever and all i have to say: I FUCKING LOVE IT! *manly tears here* Without being spoiled by the internet i was completely taken by surprise by those last minute turns. TED DOES GET ROBIN IN THE END AND THAT IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE! All other opinions are irrelevant! Jesus, i'm so glad the mother didn't make it, that little bitch! Finally a series finale that satisfies me.
its inconsitent, during the series he sometimes reffers to her as "your aunt robin". apart of that, the series as a whole isnt very appealing to me, sadly it sometimes is the only watchable thing on tv at dinner time. the character barney is great though, but i fear a lot dont get the sarcasm.
Yeah, I didn't see that coming. I swear there's a narrated line that outright says that robin isn't their mother. That's in addition to the "aunt robin" stuff. It's not canonical!
Robin isn't their mother, Tracy (the woman with the yellow umbrella) is. But then, AFTER Ted finishes telling the story to his kids, they ask him why the story is all about Robin and not about their mother. That's the point where Ted realizes that he still loves Robin and gets the same blue horn from season 1 to make a final courting. That's the last scene. Just sweet. But i agree that the series was stretched out too much, i mean how many failed marriages can one person have...
well i didnt watch it, its just what my gf told me. this way round it makes a lot more sense. i knew robin wasnt their mother, but it would be odd to refer to your wife as honorary aunt. what did i learn from that? never trust your gf when shes giving summaries of series.
I really tried to get into this series, but it just didn't hit the funnies for me. Probably easier to just watch Definitely, Maybe
Yeah, I didn't watch it either, but I think I've watched up to season 3 or something, so I understand the French horn and all that. Himym is so weird because all the supporting characters outshine the lead.
