Homing missile launcher needs longer range. I can't lock on ML lvl 3 turrets before they kill me. Usually I can't even see them by HML before I get into their range.
Don't be an idiot. He's saying that the tank-mounted homing missile launcher should have the same/slightly longer lock-on range than a level 3 turret.
Oh, I'd also suggest gettin guided missile launchers for turrets. Homing missiles to me suggest anti vehicle/air to me
lvl 3 turrets are almost to easy to destroy as is, maybe make the homing missile range just slightly less than lvl 3 turrets.
Maybe you should use long-range cannons against level 3 turrets... However, the lock on for homing missiles needs working. Perhaps if you fire while crosshairs are over the vehicle it will be locked on, and when locked on to a target, it can pass out of your crosshair and you fire while it maintains lockon. Range should be around level 2 turrets, or between level 2 and 3 turrets...
so what is the point of turrets then? why not, when you get a certain research level, all the enemy turrets disappear and you automatically win.
Point is that turrets can be spammed. HML tanks can't be spammed. Even upgraded HML tank is shooting really slowly in comparison to ML. There is a point in the game when no one cares about turrets. I can agree with setting ML and HML ranges to equal. But then you should make HML lock instantly just like ML lvl 3 is doing.
