Back by popular demand... Its installed and working on VIPER Server and will be working on EPIC Server as soon as I figure some issues about adding a second server on a different ip. It was a lot of hard work to get it working with empires, since it does not support it, and it would not have been possible without the invaluable help of TheCreeper, Recon's plugin and Jephir's help teaching me about an SSH client and how to use it. There are a couple of minor things that do not work but everything else does. We might be able to get those working or might not. But there is a lot of info already logging and showing up, IMO it's fine as is, in case we can't. You can access it in game by typing !stats The url is http://www.vipergameservers.com/hlstats/

how about something like, if the mortar does 130+ damage = headshot / direct hit or maybe 100+, not sure no idea what you can do and what not, in this hlstatsx

Thanks Security, I hear ya but the population always waxes and wanes, we all need a break now n then.
But its still nice to have atleast some progress when playing. Many times it just feels "why do I even play this?" This could strenghten the motivation. I dont even care for farmers / abusers.
See, now I'm obligated to aim for the worst stats physically possible while still attempting to actually help my team.
Never was a fan of stat tracking. My profile from bf3 and bf4 are rather terrible, but that is cause I spend a lot of time doing really stupid stuff just for fun. Empires is no different, but it's whatever. Maybe I'll just use it as a means to kinda improve myself in some way.
You can hide your own stats from public, which is a considerate option. "Say /hlx_hideranking while playing on a participating game server. This will toggle you between being visible on the Player Rankings and being invisible. Note: You will still be tracked and you can still view your Player Details page. Use the Search page to find yourself. " Personally, this stats wouldn't affect how I play(fucking around) because I don't really need this to prove anything.
At times we do get a full server or nearly full. and yes most of the players that play regularly now have asked about/for it.

I changed the mortar modifier to 2 from 1.20 which is the same as a headshot reward, not sure that does what you want, but we shall see how it works out.
Isnt that just gonna make any kill simply giving more points for a kill? What I wanted is the kills that were done in more shots than 1 or simply those that didnt do over 100 damage in 1 shot to a single enemy be considered as normal shots and direct shots that did over 100 damage to the single enemy as a headshot. I dont think that would be as easy as changing some modifier. I guess hlstatsx tracks headshots by tracking the "game event" as game clearly knows if headshot happened or not. So it is probably not tracking it based on damage in a single shot. So I guess it would require a change in hlstatsx that it would be able to simply count a single shot that did over 100 damage to the single enemy as a headshot. And I got no idea if this is possible.
Funny how right now it is showing people online getting negative head shots.But no one is really on the server ????
