Thought I'd make examples for hint messages spoken.

The hint .txt file (forgot to credit it)

I think that the northern faction wall hint needs to be redone, but I wonder if the devs think that this should be put in (in the case of people who read slower than they can listen or non-literates). I spoke it into audacity and I did some editing to make it seem as if I was speaking through a radio.

    Quite good.
I like the radio effect you added, makes it sound quite awesome.
Though, you need to talk more clearly

How do you imagine this to be played? Having that on the server with 63 other people would be annyoing since you are distracted and your performance will suffer. Playing them only once might work. Or playing them only if there are no other players on the server.

Or there's an option in the multiplayer menu for "play sound for hint message" and yeah it could deactivate if there are 30 + people (since newbs generally play on small servers before getting to big ones).

Or make them trigger when the player enters a certain area.

press use on building every 5 minutes

    message plays

although the voice mumbles a bit, talk more comprehensive, try shouting it lightly then lowering the sound software matic (makes it better comprehensible)

Yeah I think my voice was kind of "slipping" when I did it, and at the same time I was talking too fast. I think I talked best in the one for the wall but I the high pass filter and the low pass filter too much.

Any way to make it lower or mute the volume of the game and mic's while it plays the tips?

If we had a way to run single players maps as well as multiplayer maps (in other words, it needs to be both, instead of just an MP mod), we could have tutorial instead of campaign.

I'm not certain, but I don't think the game allows for single player games at the moment.
