Help text displays that all mg can shoot vehciels and buildings.

If you watch the weapons you will see that it says in the stats/text in game that .50 cal and chanigun and other can damage vehicles, when they in fact can't. This leads to noobs taking heavy .50 cal APC and attacks vehicles and expecting it to work. Needs fixing.

They only hurt hull and not armor

 

Triple stacked? You can't fit 3 .50 cal mg in an APC. Also it clearly says in the vehicle_weapons.txt that the mg ammo is set to 0 which means that it don't damage vehicles.

The only thing that only damaged hull is engineer as far as i know.

MG's damage the hull of vehicles. Not the armor
The dmg is minuscule though

 

it should be made a more valuable way of damaging... something like decent damage on hull half damage on plate

.50 cal is armor piercing as far as i know, why is it not in empires? game play reasons or just a small oversight?

its deliberately confusing in my opinion, and should be fine-tuned a little ether in description and name or in effectiveness to lower the learning curve

 

lets just change the names:

DU goes the: "Kill-a-Vehicle! MG"

.50 Cal goes: "Rocket propelled Meat grinder" or "mincing machine gun" :D
