I'm currently downloading the Empires client and just thought athat i should introduce myself to everyone.

Also any tips you can give a major newb would be appreciated.

And listen to your commander, if gives you a move / build order follow it.

And get your console up and type bind L kill

 

I hear a lot about this console, but how do you actually get into the console?

 

right click on empires in the my games menu on steam.
then click on the properties
then set launch options
in there type:
-console

 

there should be an option under controls to enable it too i think

But it isn't there. It was removed when Empires got a custom controls menu.

 

IIRC it's under multiplayer options now.

 

Yeah, lol a lot of people didn't see the enable developer console function.

Get a mic :D talking with people such as Keef and Fn198 is fun :D
