Vicki said that she removed octagons. Minigames is already gone. Hobbes V2 is at least somewhat better. Rainbowroad isn't going anywhere; too many people like it. That's all I'm going to say for now, I'd rather not go over all this again.

Let's NOT spend time fixing something that server owners should realize is killing the game. They're parasites. Y'get that? 80% of the server didn't even understand what Hobbes IS! All these maps are acting as are deterrents for newer players to GET the eff away from this game. Why? Because it's a childish, dead mod that fell into the hands of an apparently incapable community of trolls who no longer care for the well-being of the game. FUCK that image. Empires has wonderful, fabulous opportunities, and we sink them down further than Hamster's chance of getting any thigh action. Does NOBODY see a problem with this (besides Trickster)!? Oh, I'm sorry! Let's implement some of the other suggestions first! Who wants MK2 tanks back?
No, you tell the server owners to change the maps. Then you get yourself and your friends to play on the server, because there will be no point in doing it if people will just not play. IF you hardbanned maps, what would stop people from making new maps? Are we're going to tell every mapper to get the fuck away like we tell every new person playing this? Or are you going to release a new version every week?
It's a problem with the servers, not empires, and I don't think it's possible to ban a map in the code since the mappers can just recompile the maps dun dun dun. What would be totally a good idea is to start a petition or lobby group that tries to get Vicki to take the maps off, or politely asking. If all else fails, leave empires but at least stay content in the idea that the internet is still libertarian.

Here's a suggestion: Boycott VIPER, play on EPIC or MEG. Convince her that the servers without the maps are better off than the ones with them. Or, you can keep bitching and hoping someone else will do something for you. But personally, I prefer a more proactive approach instead of being passive-aggressive. P.S. I'm neither condoning nor condemning the maps or VIPER's server with my statements. I'm just tired of the bitching.
