    im trying to reinstall empires, but when downloading the RC7 patch it keeps either not finishing or finishing but being corrupted (i tried downloading it 4-5 times, it finished 2 times but was corrupted both times).

    are there any alternative sites i could it from, or could someone send it to me directly?

    grrr still doesnt work. when i look at the console i get some message about cube maps and not rebuilding the map.

    The cubemap thing is a note for mappers, you don't need to concern yourself with it. What is not working?

    i have good news and bad news.

    good news is i got it to work (ran around glyson city (i think, the one with the pyramid) and it is awesome).

    bad news is that im a freakin dumbass (my firewall was blocking me).

    The map which has pyramid in the city and has a pond in the middle is cyclopean. Glycencity is that white winter map. ;)
