I know this is an international forum, but I'm still wondering what everyone dressed up as for this years halloween. I'll post mine when I get the picture up. Discuss!
I dressed up as a college student who had an essay to do and an art project to finish up, and who also needs to work quickly on his application for UCSC.
Some comedian Bill Marr(SP?) went to the playboy costume party for halloween as Steve Eirwin, and has a bloody sting-ray barb through his chest. It's causing a big controversy. The family may file charges, lol.
Im dressed up like Krenzo, with green neon paint as codes on my face. not really, im just lying, Im dressed up like myself. Scary huh?
Jeepers, and I thought the empires community was funny, quirky and intelligent. I hoped for some amazing costumes. Oh well.
Actually, I dressed normally until i looked at my shirt, then I said im a Counter-Strike n00b. for halloween. =)
Can someone give me a short description of what halloween is, without the use of Wikipedia. What's it all about? Candy? Tricks? Killing people in costumes?
Yes. Okay, the forum say it's too short, so... There's no official structure or anything for Halloween. Although it's officially a holiday for young kids to get dressed up in costumes and go door to door accumulating candy that is given out, a lot of older kids and adults enjoy it too (though not necessarily for the same reasons). A good Halloween party involves a lot of people in whatever crazy-ass costumes they could make or find, loud music, and alcohol. So basically, it's a "fuck all!" sort of holiday. No trick-or-treaters came to our house this year, though. We had a giant basket full of candy, and now I have to eat it all. My pewp has turned green.
Halloween is the best holiday ever. You get to get drunk with your friends and run out in terrorist balaclavas and kitchen knives when children knock on the door. One year we had a basket full of sausages and the parents saw us offering the kids them and said, "You should be ashamed of yourselves!". lol....that was a good night....basically shouting at passers-by, "DO YOU WANT SOME SAUSAGE!".
this guy at work said he was going to a party dressed up as snake solid... wear nothing but a giant cardboard box. he is just dorky enough to do it too.
My friends & I were going dress up like the Twelve Apostles & go to the local all you can eat China Buffet & recreate the last supper, I was supposed to be Judas but the guys who where supposed to play Matthew & Philip already had plans for Halloween night =( The plan was shot down before we could even get the costumes... It would have been funny too... maybe next year.
OMG... On a torrent site, a person said he would dress up as a carboard box... maybe he is the same person?
