Just noticed this yesterday. I hopped into an empty APC's 2nd seat and tried to guide my rockets at a NF CV stationed nearby. Whenever I tried to guide them they arched to the floor, like a tank shell would. I haven't tried to reproduce it in the heat of the battle, so I thought I'd share before trying it again or porsing in Mantis.
two things: first, i have had the same issue. Second, this should go in mantis following testing, shouldn't it? I'm not going to report it without testing it extensively, though, seeing as Mantis and I dont get along well... or so I've been told.
Buttery Lobster only posts bugs if they've been reported already. So Chahk, you have to post it first, and then Buttery Lobster will report it too.
You can shoot yourself in the face with mortar when in slot2, if the driver goes at medium to fast speed. Noticed also with mortars from slot2, if angling it near the open turret hatch, it seems to hit it and kill self, even though it should be passing to the right/left of the open hatch Might be the similar/same issues with firing MLs from slot2, perhaps 1st person view not matching up quite right with the turret model - if you fire off a rocket, then drop the ML paint below a certain vertical point, the ML veers off course, even though you have a clear line of sight to the real target (possibly thinks your targetting your own turret?)
I've been too busy over the weekend to try and reproduce, but I promise to do that tonight and post in Mantis if necessary.
