This little mod adds a spawn menu featuring Empiresmod content to Gmod 9. Due to popular demand I've gone ahead and fixed the version released on the facepunch forums a while back. Unfortunately I don't remember the original author and the installer got deleted.

    Changelog:
    Code:
Empires Spawn Menu version 1.01 for GMod 9
    by L3TUC3

This spawn menu is based off a previous version, creator unknown. I've fixed some errors and added new content.

    Requirements:
This spawn menu requires Empires mod 1.071 installed in your SourceMods folder.

    Installation:

    1. Extract the mods and materials folders into your Gmod 9 folder.
    2. Enable the mod in the mod manager.
    3. Enjoy!

    Known Problems:
Some spawnable entities have missing textures.
    Map icons have missing images.

    Copyright:
This spawn menu is based off a previous version, creator unknown. I, L3TUC3, as an extension of the Empires mod community only take credit for the improvement.

    To do:
    -Images icons for the maps.

If you guys wish to help out and create some icons for the map icons in the menu, that would be great! It looks like I need a .vmt and a .vmf of a map screenshot, but I'm not quite sure on the sizes. I'll put you in the credits for this.

    1.08 compatibility:
This version is 1.08 compatible (for you lucky few) and all you need to do is the following:

    1. Install the spawn menu as instructed above.
    2. Open \SourceMods\gmod9\mods\empires\ModInfo.txt
    3. Goto the "searchpath" variable under the "requires" header.
    4. Change "..\..\SourceMods\empires" to "..\..\SourceMods\empires_108"

Any comments or suggestions are welcome!

I have images of all the maps if you want them. Some of them have a bit of text on them, but they probably won't show up at the size they will be displayed at :p

I see many cookies in your future L3TUC3. Can I have one?

People asked: how 2 get menus, and you gave them one :D

Working on adding map icons now. After that, Gmod 10.

Will this allow you to use the new models? The spawn menu I have right now, only spawns the old models with 1.08.

There's no new world (weapon) models yet, so no. I can't really make it spawn anything that isn't there. Once they are I'll add them.

It does spawn the missing NF stuff now though (50Cal, AR, AT, Med tank).

Edit: If you're referring to the woodland and snow camo for the Brenodi, I have no clue. I think it's map dependent.

Is anyone working on making this compatible with Gmod 10? Im extremely interested with making an BE heavy move and shoot on its own using wiremod (amazing mod for gmod 10). www.wiremod.com

Plus I have a few weeks of free time and was thinking about making a few comic strips to post in the forums.

You can add all the models manually in gmod 10. It's just annoying as it doesn't spawn the actual vehicle, but just the chassis, turret and canon.

    Driving it would look funny.
