How come I only ever hear about guys having girl problems? How come I never hear about girl solutions? I need less girl problems and more girl solutions.

You could try asking them while doing something you don't normally do together.

Actions speak louder than words. If you want to ask em out, first make sure that you go on a date. You are already friends. But make sure it's something extra that you don't normally do together. Shows effort into a relationship you are asking for.
