Scout is my favourite class in TF2. I love mobility.
Pyro is mine, I like unique mechanics (airblast)
It's underutilised, I love it.
Jack of all stats Soldier Master Race.
seriously anyone who thinks soldier takes skill to use is a moron. Soldier is the easiest class, and only has competition from demoman and scout for best overall class.
I enjoyed spy and sniper before TF2 turned to shit.
That's why I play it, no skill involved. Actually pyro is easiest class don't know what you talking bout all pyro does is press w and left mouse click.
Also saying a class takes no skill means you suck at defending yourself from those classes. lrn2play class based games.
Thread derailed into TF2 discussion.
Fucking go play pyro with W+M1 and top scoreboards then.
I guarantee you that will not work, unless you're playing against utter fucking retards you won't even get a positive K/D
I'm career pyro with over 500 hours played. Let me tell you, pyro is one of the worst classes, only the spy and engineer are worse.
Even having perfectly timed reflects, excellent flaregun/shotgun accuracy and near perfect axetinguisher skills, you will still die to soldiers, heavies, demomen and scouts in fights you should have won, because they're more reliable and simply have huge advantages over you.
Average pyro fight is:
See target, open with flare (or maybe move to get closer.)
Get in range, usually take damage in this time, if you're good you might land another flare.
Reflect rockets/grenades the whole time you're doing this. If they're using hitscan weapons you're in big trouble (heavies you shouldnt ever fight, they just beat you, end of story, heavy counters pyro in pyros best range bracket)
Get up close, ignite your enemy and airblast/switch to axetinguisher and get kill.
Average soldier fight:
Shoot rockets at their feet.
If you run out of ammo reload or switch to shotgun.
If you run out of health pull out escape plan.
I get good points with Pyro on a polak server without any strategums
The summary of your entire post.
And he didnt even mention det jumping :/
No, pyro is hard because the class has fucking terrible balance, he has loads of weaknesses and few strengths, his few good areas are outdone by other classes anyway.
Soldier is easy, shoot rockets at feet, get kills.
I fucking love pyro, but if you ask me to win a match, I'll go soldier every time.
The only thing that takes skill as soldier is landing airshots and learning rollouts. Everything else is baby tier FPS play.
This can go on forever.
My useless opinion is the same as emptys:
You can play pyro with w+mouse1, but you will fail in the end.
Or you try playing pyro tactically, but end up with mediocre scores.
Good pyros help slow the enemy team down and can cause some havoc, but they only end up at the top of the scoreboard when both teams are n00bs.
battle engie > soldier / demoCunt > pyro / heavy > battle sniper / scout / battle spy.
medic does not fit in that line
That's not my preference, but just how I perceived it since 2007.
Why would you play TF2? Isn't it all pay to win look gorgeous these days?
Or just "be smart" to look gorgeous. If I were a lesser man, I'd link to my backpack, but I will contain myself for now. Needless to say, I have quite a stash of items for someone that has never paid for an item. I've only received like three hats as drops.
Looking good in my buds and beanie is the easy part. Not sucking at scout is another challenge entirely.
Everyone always wants to buy my Bill's hat.
There's no honor in being a cunt and scamming people out of their possessions.
I think he means he just got them by drops.
I traded my Bill's hat for 20 refined metal.
