SecondLife.com Second Life is a great MMORPG that allows massive importing and lot of other fun stuff. In game cash has real world value, become a tycoon in game and sell the money for real money. Needs a credit card for use but is free, but no home.

Narbacular drop is cool. Too bad its only what, 4 levels? And buggy? Well...for what it is (a concept) its awesome.

Another one (text based):Colossal Cave Adventure. My prof told us about it yesterday when he named a variable in a program "xyzzy" which is a magical word in the game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xyzzy

    Anyone mention ET: Wolfenstein?

    Lastly...:

www.americasarmy.com (not the best game ever...but for free, its pretty good.)

Edit: sadly, second life is also full of sickos.

That may be fun as all hell, but your smart if you use a real torrent and be a real torrenter. Not some crap pre-made app with a built in search engine that I currently forgot the name of! Yea torrents are fun.

    ERROR
I meant torrents are bad, and to show my shame I will not remove this message since this is what you SHOULDN'T do!

Well, after about a hundred tries I gave up on Gunz :( If anyone knows how to get it running I'd appreciate some help.

Yup. I can use torrents fine, but when Gunz says its torrenting all the files it stops at about 94%. I hear a lot of people have the same problem, but I haven't encountered any effective solutions.

Looks like the tracker in guns drops people at 94%... reallly wierd; try downloading that torrent file again (DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING, JUST RUN THE TORRENT FILE AGAIN) Sometimes that refreshes the tracker...

Yeah. When you get a good game running, it's a freakin' blast. People work together, hold points, assault rooms, take cover... Heavenly.

With guns, your best bet is to get a 3rd party torrent app and start the file from teh game directory. worked for me.

Yeah, I tried that about 8 times. It would start at about 85-90%, then just stop around 94.

Check out the games in the bargin bin. There might still be a treasure or two you have yet to play. Recently I bought GTA: Libery City Stories for the PS2 & NeverWinter Nights: Diamond for the PC, I can tell you right now that these two game will last me a while, or at least until New Years.
