What's going to happen? Is Krenzo going to say "AH HAH! SO THAT'S THE MAN WHO INSULTED MY MOD! I WILL NOW BAN HIM!" because I was loud about my opinion? I'm going to assume no, since Krenzo, from what I've seen, isn't an arrogant asshole.
im going to offer a solution myself, by creating a map. i think by adding some quality mappage to the game, it could really beef things up. im pretty well experienced. i made 6 maps for the old engine, and released 2 maps for source (both for DOD; paysage and harbor) im talented with brushwork and i love detailing. but i wont go overboard, because this game really relies on resources for the vehicles to run smoothly. ive quickly wipped up an overview, but my scanner is broken. however, that wont stop me. I hope to begin this long process next weekend. As soon as I get pieces of it done, I will post so in the Mapping forum. just to quickly state, it will be a destroyed city; fire, smoke, rubble. some parts will be open, and some will be tighter for the infantry to have fun. i am aiming for solid gameplay as well as impressive visuals. keep me motivated

Of course you can eat fish raw, well 99 % of it any way, using raw chicken or pork may have been more fitting. I am sorry but you metaphor is fatally floored. Loved this mod ever since the Bf42 release.
I was talking about dangerous raw fish. I know you can eat most fish raw. Though my metaphor was bad (I can never make a good metaphor, ever) the most basic principle still stands.
I'll slap everyone with a raw fish if they don't settle their differences in the blackhole instead of this thread.

my first impressions were: this mod has great potential to become the best hybrid of an FPS ever. it's getting there with each release. I am getting dissapointed that it's moving away from the resource based gameplay though. Whenever escort or district maps come up, I disconnect and find another server or go play another game altogether. The game is too boring in those play modes and I would much rather play CS, DOD, NS, BF2 the list goes on and on of what I'd rather play when I'm not in a commander based RTS mode of play.
yah i see what you mean. the RTS based mode is the creative side of the game, which draws a lot of people in. but i wouldnt worry if i were you. im sure this mode isnt being ditched, just the other "more simple" mode is being explored for diversity.
